Are you in love with Lake Balaton and sailing? If you imagine an ideal relaxation on a sailboat, then take a cruise on the board of a sailing boat. We offer you the perfect solution for a sailing experience on the largest freshwater lake of Central Europe. Lake Balaton is the largest freshwater lake of Central Europe. Hungarians lovingly call it “the Hungarian sea” as Hungary is a landlocked country and has no seas. The lake is one of Hungary’s most precious gems and most frequented holiday resort. The length of the lake is 77 kilometers. Its width varies between 3 and 14 km.
The region has a lot to offer even for those who are not so keen on swimming and water sports. The northern shore is a mountainous region famous for its historical sights and wine, while the southern shore is rather flat and is known about its holiday resorts like Siófok which is known as the „party capital” of the lake shore. The city of which attracts a lot of party goers in the open-air party of the lake shore every summer night.
Overview of the tour:
Full day excursion to lake Balaton which is the „Hungarian sea”. After
departure from Budapest we proceed to Lake Balaton where We show you the main sights around the lake and you can also enjoy the Marina and you can test your sailing courage.
At the end of the tour we return to Budapest and the tour ends in city center at the hotel.

OPTIONAL PROGRAMME
Sailing boat trip on Lake Balaton, let it be family sailing, birthday sailing or sailing with friends. Maximum capacity per boat 10 pax + 1 boat driver + 1 guide/ ship.
We are prepared for receiving groups with a larger number of sailboats, we can provide relaxation for 40 to 120 people of any age.
Option 1.) – 2 hours Sailing – Weather permitting time
Description of the tour:
Meet your local guide in the lobby of your hotel and take a full day excursion by bus to the Lake Balaton which is one of the most beautiful part of Hungary.
After leaving Budapest we take you to a Marina port of Balaton where you can start 2 hours sailing with an instructor on the lake. After the amazing experience You can try the local dishes in a nearby restaurant.
After lunch We proceed to Tihany Peninsula which is a natural beauty and at the same time it is the home of the oldest Abbey Church of Hungary. The next place We are taking you to Balatonfüred where You can admire the beautiful Rabindranath Tagore Alley with the beautiful architecture of the town. At night We return to Budapest.-
Option 2.) Teambuilding day – ask the price in case of concrete inquiry!
For larger groups, we provide recreation on the board of a sailing boat fleet consisting of 12 boats. During an afternoon barbecue, drinking and bathing, our guests will have fantastic experiences in the middle of Lake Balaton. We can organize a Regatta with a participation of 12 boats of 10 pax capacity each.
Option 3.) Bachelor- or Bachelorette party Full Day – Party at the lake shore of Balaton
Do you want an unforgettable experience? Do you want to have a big party before the big day? Trust in us, an awesome program, exclusive venues, a real Balaton party atmosphere. We do everything for you in organizing. You just have to bring yourself. What are you waiting for? Get on the board with us!
After leaving Budapest we take you to the Town of Queens which is Veszprem where during a walking tour We show you the main sights of the town. Then We take you to a local restaurant where you can try the local dishes with wine tasting. After the delicious lunch We take you to the port of Balaton where We start the 2 hours sailing on the lake with an instructor with snacks and beverages and of course music.
After sailing We proceed to the respective hotel of stay by the lake.
We give you some time to freshen up then We take you for dinner and after that Your night is free around the lake where there are different party and dizzy nightlife options.
The next morning after breakfast We take you to Tihany Peninsula where you can admire the wonderful view of the Abbey church and the lake then We return to Budapest.
For those who want to remain on the boat!
In case of spending the complete day and night on boat in case of 6 pax. We can give the price upon request! Overnigh on boat remaining in any of the ports of Balatonfüred area
Option 4.) Sailing and sailing boat driving Full Day
– day time sailing and night on the boat. Up to 6 pax/boat daytime and night time sleeping on the boat (2 beds/cabin)!
An unforgettable opportunity for our guests to explore the mysteries of sailing. Our professional staff is at your disposal during the tour. It can be 1-2 hours, or even full-day recreation, the program is optional. In addition, it is possible to take a bath in the middle of Lake Balaton, or going to other ports to other moorings (Tihany, Balatonfüred etc…) or trying to drive by yourself a sailing boat (under instructor’s control).
